Boston, we had so much fun throwing a watch party for the USWNT at a Dorchester Vietnamese restaurant for the World Cup, and a Roxbury Dominican spot for the NWSL championship , that we decided to throw an Olympic Watch party this coming Thursday July 25, 2024 starting at 1pm.
Plan to join us at Obosa, a Roslindale, Nigerian & woman-owned restaurant at 146 Belgrade Ave, Boston. We’re asking that you RSVP please by responding to our Instagram post, tweeting or messaging one of us to let us know you’re coming, so we can keep a headcount and help the restaurant staff can have a general idea of how many people are planning to attend .
We at Boston Women’s Sports are so pleased to again be partnering with another fabulous local restaurant to highlight the diverse soccer and food cultures of Boston. Plan to come join us on Thursday!

We’ve got TWO incredible games on the books:
1pm: Nigeria vs Brazil
3pm: USA vs Zambia
Be advised that the restaurant only gets Univision, so the broadcast will be in Spanish, so if you need an English languish commentary, plan to bring your own device. Or just join in our raucous, multicultural adventure!
And as we’ve shared previously, Boston Women’s Sports is committed to “excellent, equitable and anti-racist sports coverage.” We ask that all who attend commit to being good guests while watching Nigeria vs Brazil, and USA v Zambia in a local Nigerian restaurant and supporting the growth of ALL women’s teams around the globe.
